Carissa Diaz resides in Los Angeles, CA where she enjoys writing feature stories on inspiring people, music and cultural events.

Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Carissa transferred to Cal State University Dominguez Hills where she received her Bachelors in Communications.

 

She enjoys learning and gaining experience in the journalism field. Carissa's career goal is to tell compelling stories of the diverse communities we live in. She also wants to work for a music publication,  where she's able to write credible articles for fans to get to know their favorite artist. Most importantly, she wants to bring out the authenticity in music.

When Carissa's not writing stories or watching interviews online, she tunes into her passion for music by finding new music and artist to listen to.
